Payroll and HR: How Synergie Family improved the reliability of their processes with mySilae and Primexis
Synergie Family, an association with a strong educational impact, has nearly 700 employees spread over various regions in France. To manage the complexity of its structure, the association needed to improve the reliability of its payroll, increase its autonomy, and better structure its HR processes. In this interview, Stéphanie Chabrillat, HR director at Synergie Family, and Gaëtan Lemaître, Payroll & HRIS Partner at Primexis, talk about the project’s challenges and the support provided for mySilae.
What were Synergie Family’s payroll and HR challenges?
Stéphanie Chabrillat: Today, Synergie Family has nearly 700 employees. This scale involves rigorous payroll management, especially since we work in environments subject to strict regulatory frameworks.
We must navigate multiple collective agreements, specific employment contracts, varied work schedules, and regulations that may differ by region, particularly in Alsace-Moselle or in the French overseas departments and territories (DOM-TOM).
In addition to this, certain activities are highly seasonal with frequent employee onboarding and offboarding. For the Human Resources department, the main challenges are clear: secure payroll, improve the reliability of HR, and enhance processes efficiency.
Why did Synergie Family choose Primexis?
Stéphanie Chabrillat: Before we started working with Primexis, we were already receiving support, but it didn’t fully correspond to the complexity of our organization. Silae’s configuration wasn’t sufficiently adapted to our operational needs.
We lacked payroll security, autonomous use of the tool, and visibility into our processes. This posed an issue in both efficiency and risk management.
At the same time, we were engaged in a major HRIS project. In this context, Primexis was recommended to us by our partner at the time.

What was Primexis’ role in the mySilae project?
Gaëtan Lemaître: Primexis works with companies of all sizes, from SMEs to large groups, in areas such as payroll outsourcing, implementing tools, legal advisory services, and operational assistance.
In our work with Synergie Family, the first challenge was to understand their organization: their processes, technological environment, regulatory constraints, and business-specific features.
Our approach is not to impose a software solution but to adapt the solution to how the organization actually operates. In a payroll and HR project, the key point is that technology must serve business needs, not the other way around.
How did mySilae meet Synergie Family’s needs?
Gaëtan Lemaître: Silae has profoundly transformed payroll operations and customer relationships. With mySilae, this evolution goes even further thanks to a portal and new features available.
The solution allows us to manage absences, supplementary health insurance and welfare benefits coverage, and will soon include additional time management features. These functions bring tangible benefits to payroll and HR teams on their day-to-day work.
Primexis has been a Silae Top partner for many years. This proximity with the Silae teams allows us to better understand the tool’s developments, relay client needs, and provide companies with advice tailored to their challenges.
What benefits has Synergie Family noticed?
Stéphanie Chabrillat: The benefits were almost immediate. The configuration implemented by Primexis allowed us to improve the reliability of our payroll and save time. We also gained greater autonomy; HR teams can now focus more on high-value-added missions rather than verification or correction tasks.
In addition to the tool itself, mySilae has become a true HR performance driver for us. It is not just payroll software but a tool to help structure and secure our organization.
What made the difference in this project?
Stéphanie Chabrillat: What made the difference in this project was, first, the trust that was built with the Primexis teams. We needed peace of mind regarding a sensitive issue: payroll. Primexis knew how to support us with a responsive, reliable, and solution-oriented team. This support allowed us to respond more efficiently to our organizational challenges, particularly those related to our multi-site operations.
mySilae addresses our HR and payroll challenges, but Primexis’ expertise has allowed us to adapt the software to our operational reality. This is the combination that works.
To an organization that is still hesitating about switching to mySilae, I would simply say to trust your administrators, test the system, and you will see – it will be adopted.
Gaëtan Lemaître: In a project like this, success depends on the ability to start from the ground up. We have to understand the client’s organization, practices, challenges, and objectives to build a truly adapted solution. Our role is precisely to ensure this connection between the software, the processes, and the company’s operational need.
