Large-scale Finance Transformation to boost performance
InVivo, a major player in the French agriculture and agro-food ecosystem, took on a large-scale project to modernize its performance management. Objective: unify consolidation, FP&A, and treasury into the same Tagetik solution within an environment of strong growth and a complex scope.
To successfully carry out this project, the group chose Primexis as a Tagetik integrator, for both its expertise in consolidation and its experience in complex EPM environments.
In this testimonial, Antoine Châtelain, Director of Consolidation, FP&A, and Finance Projects, and Arnaud Vernisse, Project Manager at InVivo, talk about their challenges, choosing Tagetik, Primexis’ role, and the results that are already visible in the group’s project management.

Could you present InVivo and its activity?
Antoine Châtelain: InVivo is a major player in the French agriculture and agri-food ecosystem. We generate 12 billion euros in turnover, operate in 40 countries, and employ around 15,000 people. The group is structured around 6 business lines: agriculture, wine, milling and baking, malt production, distribution (with the Gamm Vert and Jardiland brands), and bakery (the Boulangerie Louise chain). All of these business lines share a common focus of promoting French agriculture and cereal production.
What were your main challenges in performance management?
Antoine Châtelain: InVivo is a rapidly growing group. We have doubled, even tripled in size. We needed to review our overall performance management and to have a unified tool for consolidation, FP&A, and treasury. We were looking for a solution capable of managing our specific requirements in terms of French GAAP, IFRS, and P&L by nature and by destination, a dozen sub-consolidations, and above all, seamless reconciliation between the accounting / consolidation and controlling. The goal was for our entire finance community to speak the same language with a common data model.
Why did you choose Tagetik as an EPM solution?
Arnaud Vernisse: We chose Tagetik because we wanted an “all-in-one” tool to manage performance. In concrete terms, Tagetik allows us to manage consolidation, all parts of forecasting (budget and business plan), and treasury in a single solution.
Another key point was real-time intercompany management with integrated reconciliation, which was fundamental for a group of our size and complexity.
Why did you select Primexis as a Tagetik integrator?
Antoine Châtelain: The InVivo group has been working with Primexis for many years. Trust was there, which was important when starting a project of this scale. In addition to our previous relationship, Primexis combined two aspects that were essential to us: a strong tool expertise, particularly in Tagetik, and highly specialized technical expertise in consolidation, suited to the complexity of our group.
Arnaud Vernisse: Primexis also knew SAP BFC, our previous information system, very well. This made the transition and liaison between BFC and Tagetik easier, without losing any value in the data model.

How did the collaboration go throughout the project?
Antoine Châtelain: Our collaboration with Primexis was very smooth. Their team was able to adapt to a highly complex situation, involving changes in scope, dense consolidation, and numerous business particularities.
Arnaud Vernisse: I humbly believe that we have one of the most complex consolidations in the Paris market. Primexis was able to understand our challenges, configure Tagetik without shortcuts, and build a robust solution. Above all, we didn’t want to weaken our data model, either on the consolidation side or the controlling side. At the same time, it was an opportunity to simplify and streamline certain things. Primexis provided excellent advice on this point. They understood our perspective and helped us opt for greater simplicity when this made the project more secure.
What also made the difference was their creativity, ability to think about the end user, and put themselves in our team’s shoes. This is fundamental for a management tool transformation project.
What initial benefits have you witnessed since Tagetik went live?
Antoine Châtelain: We have been live on Tagetik since September 2025 and have already completed more than 3 monthly closings on the controlling and consolidation side.
The first benefits were very clear with unifying the Finance community, a single chart of accounts, a common tool, and shared reports. The application landscape has also been simplified as several previously used models (intercompany, forecast, etc.) are now integrated into Tagetik without any interfacing issues. Finally, adoption is well underway with more than 300 Tagetik accounts and users who have easily found their bearings compared to BFC, both in terms of reporting and feedback.
Arnaud Vernisse: The feedback has been very positive. Teams are beginning to understand how Tagetik allows them to go further than BFC, specifically in terms of data and analysis. It is a process that takes time, but support is there and the richness of the tool is recognized.
What specific role did Primexis play in the success of your Tagetik project?
Antoine Châtelain: Primexis’ support combines two essential values: extensive business expertise (consolidation, FP&A, and treasury) and an excellent understanding of information systems and Tagetik configuration. If we now have a tool that works and is simple, robust, and perfectly adapted to the needs of consolidators, controllers, accountants, and treasurers, it is largely thanks to Primexis and the quality of our interactions throughout the project.
Arnaud Vernisse: They also encouraged us to think differently about our initial specifications. Thanks to their experience, they offered alternative configuration options. It is a real win-win situation: sometimes more complex configuration on the integrator side but simpler and smoother for our teams to use.
Would you recommend Primexis for similar projects?
Antoine Châtelain: Yes, clearly. Our Tagetik project has been a real success, and the entire Finance community can already feel the effects.
