ISAE 3402 Type II & SSAE 18 accreditations

An internationally recognized guarantee of reliability, security, and compliance
In an environment where data security, regulatory compliance, and the reliability of financial and social processes have become strategic priorities for organizations, Primexis has obtained its renewal of its ISAE 3402 Type II and SSAE 18 accreditations in 2025. This international recognition, awarded following independent audits, confirms the solidity of the internal control system, the quality of the operational processes, and the security of the data managed on behalf of our clients.
Few firms in France have both the ISAE 3402, the global standard, and the SSAE 18, recognized standard in the United States. This double renewal strengthens Primexis’ position as a trustworthy partner of international groups.

The ISAE 3402 Type II and SSAE 18 accreditations specifically cover 3 areas of Primexis’ expertise:
- Accounting, particularly for subsidiaries of international groups
- Real Estate sector, which is subject to strict regulation
- Payroll and HRIS outsourcing, at the heart of HR and social compliance challenges
Accreditations awarded after a rigorous audit
These accreditations are maintained following a rigorous audit by independent experts, extensively assessing:
- The effectiveness of operational procedures
- The robustness of risk management framework
- The reliability and security of client data
A unique position on the French market
The combination of ISAE 3402 Type II and SSAE 18 accreditations remains rare in France. This double renewal highlights the high standards achieved by Primexis and reinforces its position with Finance and HR departments looking for reliable, transparent processes that comply with international standards.
In addition to their technical nature, these accreditations reflect the quality of the methods implemented and the commitment of Primexis’ professionals. They guarantee that the organizations supported by Primexis receive financial, accounting, and social information that complies with the strictest standards while ensuring a high level of security and reliability.
QWhat is the difference between ISAE 3402 Type II and SSAE 18?
ISAE 3402 (International Standard on Assurance Engagements): international standard published by the AASB (International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board). It provides a framework for the audit of internal controls implemented by service providers.
SSAE 18 (Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements): American standard established by the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants). It defines the standards applicable to attestation engagements conducted in the United States.
The main difference therefore lies in their geographical scope:
- ISAE 3402 is recognized internationally
- SSAE 18 is the specific reference for the US market
Having both accreditations allows service providers to meet the requirements of multinational groups and guarantee recognition in both Europe and the United States.
Why are these accreditations important for organizations?
They guarantee that service providers have reliable internal controls that are audited and comply with international standards. They strengthen the confidence of clients and external auditors in data security and risk management.
